Who We Are

Shiftt is a digital platform designed to support social impact initiatives and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), with a focus on projects operating in Guatemala. Our goal is to facilitate transparent, secure, and accessible financial support for initiatives that contribute positively to communities.

Shiftt provides technological infrastructure to help connect contributors with social initiatives. We do not position ourselves as a financial institution or a charity by default, unless explicitly stated for a specific initiative.

Our Role

Shiftt’s role includes:

  • Facilitating payment processing via trusted third-party providers
  • Promoting transparency and clear communication between contributors and initiatives

Shiftt does not:

  • Provide financial, legal, or tax advice
  • Guarantee specific outcomes or impacts
  • Control day-to-day operations of independent NGOs or projects

Payment Processing and Compliance

All payments made through the Shiftt platform are processed by Stripe, a globally recognized and PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

  • Payment details are encrypted and handled directly by Stripe
  • Shiftt does not store sensitive payment information
  • Transactions are subject to Stripe’s terms and compliance requirements

Governance and Responsibility

Shiftt is committed to responsible platform operation and takes reasonable measures to:
